Honors From Legionnaires from Post 291

American Legion Officers (left) Robert Morrison, Judge Advocate and Brian Peters, Sergeant-at-Arms Place Flags next to those who have served.

In honor of deceased veterans every year on Memorial Day a group of Legionnaires from Post 291 visit four area cemeteries and they remove the old America flag and replace it with a new flag.

The Post has replace 190 flags this year:  At Waters cemetery there are 112 veterans, at Mount Olive there are 52 veterans, the Salem cemetery have 6 veterans buried there and at Mingo Acres there are 20 that have been laid to rest there.    In the photo:  American Legion Officers (left) Robert Morrison, Judge Advocate and (right) Brian Peters, Sergeant-at-Arms.
